Trimming can have a major impact on the performance of write operations. For those who might not be familiar with the term, trimming refers to the process of erasing data blocks on the disk that contain data that is no longer needed. This properties sheet doesn’t give you a lot of information, but it will typically tell you whether your SSD is healthy and how long it has been since the disk was trimmed. Your first option for gathering SSD health information is to use the Disk Properties sheet.
